Artist rendering of T.I. and Ciara
Rapper T.I. and R&B-leaning pop star Ciara will anchor the 2007 Scream tour, which will begin in late July. Support acts have yet to be announced; according to a spokesperson, a handful of special guests will also appear in select cities.
The tour will visit 24 U.S. cities, including Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Miami, Detroit, Washington, D.C., and Baltimore. A full itinerary is still pending.
T.I. will be out behind his upcoming Grand Hustle/Atlantic album, "T.I. vs. T.I.P.," due July 3. First single "Big Things Poppin' (Do It)" was the top debut at No. 30 last week on the Billboard Hot 100.
Ciara is touring in support of 2006's "Ciara: The Evolution," which has sold 1.2 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The artist will make her film debut in "Mama, I Want To Sing!," which begins shooting this month in Baton Rouge, La., and is due for theatrical release in 2008.
